Join artist Nicole Barakat in a series of workshops inspired by sustainable practices of reusing cloth. Work with beautiful discarded silks from the fashion industry to create a collection of practical items including scarves, jewellery, bags, floor rugs and more! You'll learn a variety of techniques including crochet, string making and fabric manipulation, and join in on some great conversation. 

Nicole's Textiles Workshop will run every Tuesday, 10.30am–1.30pm, from 31 October – 12 December. 

Who: Women in the community.
Children are welcome, but women must be responsible for their children during the workshop.
