LOST IN BOOKS is a kids' multilingual bookshop, café, safer space for women, all-ages creative learning centre, and language exchange hub. We're based in Fairfield, in south-western Sydney — Australia's most culturally diverse community.
LOST IN BOOKS offers a bountiful public program around books, literacy, multilingual conversation, and wellbeing. It's for children, young people and adults from Anglo-Australian, and culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
Staffed by bilingual workers with the support of an enthusiastic team of volunteers, LOST IN BOOKS promotes multilingual literacy, community safety, connectedness and exchange. It's a social enterprise, which means that any profits are reinvested into the project.
LOST IN BOOKS is the brainchild of Jane Stratton and her team at Think+DO Tank Foundation.
