CHILDREN’S BOOKSELLER (CASUAL)

Is your professional mission to put the right book in the hands of children and young people, and the people who love them?

If not, should it be?

We are searching for a person who is knowledgable and passionate about children’s and young adult literature. With a talent for hand-selling, you will enjoy flexibility and a supportive work environment.

The Bookseller will:

  • join our Co-Captains of Commerce, Liz Allen and Ailsa Liu, to offer the best children’s literature from around the world to our customers in many languages

  • contribute to the skills development of trainee bilingual staff

  • contribute to the culture of our store so it grows as a retail store, a community hub of creativity and connection, and becomes celebrated as a local venue for arts and live performance.

Ability in a language other than English is valued at LOST IN BOOKS.
