HOMEWORK CLUB -
Are you a teacher, or training to become one? Are you a uni student? Or high school subject specialist? Do you have two hours a week to support newly arrived students so they can thrive in Australian schools?
Join us at LOST IN BOOKS for our Homework Club which is delivered with our community partners, the Iraqi Australian University Graduates Forum.
Every Wednesday afternoon, we meet at 3:30pm for afternoon tea and relaxation. Then from 4pm - 6pm we help students (K-12) and their families to understand their homework and partner with them for success. Join us to be part of the warm welcome we extend to new Australians.
Hack Sounds is an initiative from 107 Projects, offering an entry point into the world of electronic music making.
Hack Sounds is designed with the beginner in mind. Our tools and teaching approaches are geared at giving you the fundamentals to begin your adventure into electronic music-making and production.

OPEN: Lost In Books is interested to celebrate creative self-expression in languages other than English; and in critical and creative explorations of multilingualism and diversity. The IN OTHER WORDS Festival is a public celebration and exploration of these ideas.

IN OTHER WORDS
NOW CLOSED: IN OTHER WORDS is a paid residency program designed to develop new literary works in languages other than English. From 2019, we will also offer residencies to create new musical works.
You receive financial and creative support at LOST IN BOOKS, over eight weeks.
We are looking for writers, translators, illustrators, graphic novelists, poets working alone or in a team for literary residencies.
And we are looking for song-writers, composers, producers and musicians working alone or in a team for musical residencies.
