Telling Stories with Sound: a sound workshop for kids

What does sound look like? Build your own vivid, imaginary world of sound! Kids will learn how to design and build their own musical instruments, learning about “foley sounds”, and experiment with synthesizers and loop pedals.

Together with sound designer Annie McKinnon, we’ll imagine what different sounds might look like, and what inanimate objects would say if they could talk!

Participants will build and design a sound installation to be exhibited at Fairfield City Museum & Gallery’s Child’s Play exhibition, opening on Saturday 14 April.
